Nothing breeds recognition like high
profile success as reflected in team building
activities. Our program culminates a total
group experience by recognizing the vitality
of personal contributions to effective
teamwork.
The focal point of our team building
activities are to motivate people through
the experience of success. Success is
recognized and measured through developing
individual talents which build winning
teams.
Team building programs require a high
degree of challenge and commitment. The
stakes are perceived as high, but the
exercises are geared for success thus
creating a whole new perspective on personal
potential. In a matter of hours, participants
experience the difference between what
they think they can accomplish and what
they can actually do!
Get ready for fun in the sun with this
pool olympics event! You will be greeted
by "lifeguards" for each team
who will cheer you on and advise your teammates
of any "tricks" to speed up the
events. Your team will only have a little
time to organize, so teamwork is a must!
Then let the games begin! 3 hour event.
What a way to promote team work among your
top executives. They will work elbow to
elbow to "survive" the challenging
course. There are many obstacles to overcome,
and the only way to accomplish these feats
is to think together, plan together, and
act together! 3 hour event.
Your arrival is marked by hoots and hollers
from your rodeo staff. Wranglers are hitched
up to each posse (team) to help with the challenge
of Western athletic fun, and to call foul
when you don't hold up the tradition of the
West! 3 hour event.
In this event your group will experience
both racing and team building activities.
We offer a creative problem solving program
combining unique team relay challenges
along with the car derby building. Each
team receives a kit of supplies all painted
for their custom car. Teams develop a
blue print for construction and the tools
to build their own race car within a set
time frame. Finally, the big race. Each
team runs the course three or more times
for a collective team time. Points are
awarded for total time, creativity and
design.
Catch the wave and have fun as we have
created a team event designed to Pump up
the Spirit and build teamwork, unity and
pride. The program is built around "Building
a Boat" and racing it against the other
teams. Teams will receive a boat kit and
must design and construct a boat prior to
racing it against other teams. Teams earn
points in each activity based on their performance
against the clock or goal in the activity,
not the other teams.
Your group will enjoy a little friendly
competition, a great deal of fun, and
an opportunity to experience the Sonoran
Desert up close and personal! This Scavenger
Hunt is a fun and exciting way to enjoy
the splendor of the Sonoran desert while
testing the group's sense of direction,
ability to follow clues and find hidden
items in the desert.
We will pick you up at the front door
of the resort in open-air jeeps. Each
team (jeep) will be issued trivia questions
and directions for them to follow to reach
the starting point of the hunt located
at an off-road trailhead. Once at the
trailhead our "Scavenger Hunt Referee"
will issue the all important scavenger
hunt list and assigned teams to the trails
they will follow. Once on the trail each
team member will need to work together
to complete their list within an hour.
Remember this is a hunt .. by jeep
and on foot.
At the conclusion of the one hour hunt,
teams will return to the trailhead to
turn in their items for tabulation and
scoring. GOOD LUCK. A live reptile demonstration
will take place at the conclusion of the
hunt.
The 4-wheel jeep treasure hunt is fun
and exciting way to enjoy the splendor
of the Sonoran Desert, while testing your
sense of direction, ability to follow
clues, identify landmarks, and strategically
read maps.
The 4-wheel tour treasure hunt can be
done with groups of all sizes. Teams of
two, three or four jeeps each are determined
prior to departure from the hotel. Each
team has its own set of directions and
questions which guide them to their specific
location. Upon arrival, team members need
to locate the landmark which hides the
map that will ultimately lead them to
the exact location of the buried chest
of treasures.
The treasure can be individual prizes,
pieces of a large puzzle, your company
logo, team building items, refreshments
and snacks. Or other small items that
we can customize to meet your need.
3:00pm - Group will
assemble on the Resort Front Drive
Entire Group will be
divided into teams of (18) guests. Each
team consists of (3) jeeps of (6) passengers.
Jeeps will depart the
Resort Front Drive
Each team will be given
a clue to a specified location
After arriving at the
specified locations throughout the event,
guests will be asked a question, when
the answer is correct, the team will
be given a piece of a puzzle and a clue
to the next location
Following the last clue,
the team will re-group and put the pieces
of the puzzle together displaying a
map they will follow to their dig site
where they will dig up their buried
treasure.
Note: Each team has their own dig site
and treasure box. Team members will use
two-way radios for communication. Beer
and Squirt Guns can be provided. Questions
can be customized.
Participants will enjoy this experience
where teams must construct a Tee Pee using
10' high poles, canvas for the cover and
then paint a story message around the
Tee Pee. Teams are provided with poles,
canvas, paints, brushes, planning form,
leather, scissors and twine. Teams are
judged based on the story line they have
created and the chant used to tell the
story of the company which is painted
on the Tee Pee. Teams must create the
story line with pictures identifying the
past, present, and future of the team.
This process allows others to share in
the history of the company and most of
all creates a cohesive unit in the future
of the team.
We will divide your group into teams who
will attempt to create an award winning
chili. Our Chef provides the main ingredients,
as the teams work together to create a recipe
and plan of action. Each team creates its
own chant and decorates their own aprons
with their team name and design for this
unique and tasty event. The Chili Chant
and Apron helps the team sell their creation.
While the chili is cooking, the teams send
members to participate in Audience Games.
Awards are presented to the Best of Class,
Spiciest and Most Creative "edible"
Chili.
You are on the front lines of a real battlefield.
Your only chance for survival is your marksmanship
with your paintball rifle and how well you
work with the other team members in your
squad. This is a rugged, urban guerrilla
environment that lends itself to fast action
and no time outs. Can you capture the other
team's flag and return to your headquarters?
Will you be able to infiltrate enemy lines
without being "eliminated"? This
is the day you will enjoy planning, playing,
and reminiscing about. The camaraderie created
from relying on your buddies for your survival
will transcend the battlefield to give an
extra punch to that next corporate acquisition.
3-4 hour event.
Do you want to involve your group in
a little friendly competition, a great
deal of fun, and an opportunity to experience
the Sonoran Desert? Our desert jeep rally
is the answer. We will pick you up at
the front door of the resort in open-air
vehicles. En-route to the starting point
each vehicle selects a captain. All team
members participate and this rally is
not about speed "so pay attention"
everything you hear and see is important.
Our jeep rally can be customized to incorporate
corporate logos and clues. Jeep tours
and rallies have been acclaimed by many
Tucson visitors as one of the most interesting,
exciting and memorable highlights of their
trip. 3.5 hour event.
Low rope activities are the core of the
team building program. Teams are presented
a series of challenges and obstacles in
which the only way to accomplish the task
is as a team with good communication and
leadership.
High rope activities build on the trust
and communication of the low elements
and allow participants to expand their
comfort zones while harnessed and attached
to a belayer on the ground. The Giants
ladder and High Y are two person elements
while Catwalk, Vine walk King cross,
Postman's walk and the Trapeze leap
and Pamper Pole is individual elements
Looking for that perfect team building
experience, or way to impact the Tucson
community? Offer your guests the opportunity
to volunteer and sponsor part or all of
a day working on a house that will become
a home for a low income working family.
No need to have previous construction experience.
Habitat supervisors assist in correct procedures
and safety measures.
What sets Tucson's program apart?
A first of its kind partnership
was undertaken between Habitat and the
Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona. Twenty
homes over a five-year period are being
built.
Of 1,720 affiliate programs
around the world, Tucson was the seventh.
Under the High School
Building Program, Santa Rita High School
was the first in the nation to build a
Habitat house on their campus and then
move it to its permanent site.
